Turtle is one of eight sample minigames included with Family BASIC. The manual provides instructions on how to code the game, in addition to a screenshot of the game.
Gameplay[edit]
Upon starting the game, the player must choose from five different Shellcreepers to bet on; it appears that the player can bet on two out of the five. After the player has made their choice, the Shellcreepers will begin racing. During the race, the player must encourage the Shellcreepers they bet on by "cheering them on". Depending on which Shellcreeper crosses the finish line first, the player will either win or lose, and be prompted to try again. The game's code shows that the movement of the Shellcreepers is randomized.

Notes[edit]
- The game appears to either have multiple rounds or consider restarting the game to be a new round, as text in the bottom left corner of the screen asks the player if they want to practice for "frame 2".
