List of weapons in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
Below is a list of all the weapons in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, organized by category. Weapons can be acquired by different methods; in the main game, they can be found by collecting all eight Red Coins unveiled by a Red Ring in order to reveal a treasure chest containing the weapon, or collecting all of the Blue Coins in a bonus stage to reveal a treasure chest containing the weapon. In the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC, they can be found by solving large puzzles in-between levels, clearing Bonus Areas, and by collecting all twenty of the Puzzle Pieces.
Weapons come in two classifications: primary, which usually consists of typical, straightforward weapons, and secondary, which encompasses backup weapons that can be used when the primary weapons do not work for the player.
The Precision weapon is a long range weapon designed after a sniper rifle. Precision weapons have the farthest range, allowing users to hit enemies from afar. The only hero that can use Precision weapons is Luigi.
The Rumblebang is a medium range weapon designed to look like a minigun. Rumblebangs hit targets with a multitude of low-damage shots all at once, which all add up to the total damage done. What sets this weapon apart from the others is that its ratio of performable damage is much larger (usually around a 100 or 200 damage difference between the min and max) meaning the amount of damage it does each use will vary greatly. Yoshi and his Rabbid counterpart both use this weapon.
The Boomshot is a powerful shotgun-style weapon. This means it affects a wide, yet short range area in front of the user, and does more damage the closer the enemy is. Rabbid Mario and Princess Peach are the only heroes with Boomshots.
The Bworb is a yo-yo-like weapon that is very similar to the regular Blaster. The Bworbs have the highest chances of successfully causing a Super Effect than any other weapons. In fact; the Gag Me With a Spoon, and the Round Shield Shocker are the only hero weapons in the main game that have a 100% Super Effect Chance. It is only used by Rabbid Luigi.
Bwananarangs are mid-range boomerang-like weapons capable of hitting multiple targets in a row without cooldown. Their flight is not affected by low Cover Blocks. Donkey Kong is the only character that can use this weapon.
Boombows are long-range weapons modeled after crossbows capable of hitting multiple targets at once without cooldown. Compared to the Boomshot, which works similar, the Boombow has a narrower cone but better range. Rabbid Cranky is the only character that can use this weapon.
Melee weapons are secondary weapons that are used in the same way as Hammers. They can only target foes that are in any of 8 possible cells that are right next to the user, but the attack creates a shockwave around the user that does damage to anything else that's close. Damage done depends on how close to the hero the enemy (or cover) is. Both Mario and his Rabbid counterpart have these.
Sentries are deployable drones resembling submarines used by Rabbid Peach and Luigi. Sentries chase a single target by moving a few cells each turn. If an enemy gets within range of the Sentry, whether it be the target or not, the Sentry explodes, causing damage to a large surrounding area, and the closer to the explosion an enemy is, the more damage is done. However, Sentries have their own Health Points like a hero, and enemies will not hesitate to attack an incoming Sentry. They can be used with weapons that have a high chance of inflicting the Honey or Stone effect. They can also be used with Luigi's Itchy Feet ability, Mario's M-power, Yoshi's Super Chance, or all four of the abilities. If the enemy a Sentry is targeting is defeated before the Sentry can reach it, the Sentry will stop moving, but still explode if an enemy happens to walk near it.
Rocket weapons, as what their name implies, resemble real life RPGs. The Rockets are used to cause explosions to far away targets. This weapon is useful for destroying cover, and similarly to the Sentry, enemies take damage depending on how close they are to the center of the blast. Yoshi and Rabbid Luigi both have Rockets.
Grenaducks are bombs resembling ducks that perform a single bounce, then cause an explosion upon the second landing. Like the Sentry, the closer the foe is to the middle of the blast, the more damage is done. Peach and Rabbid Yoshi both use this weapon.
DK Ground Pound
DK Ground Pounds are close-range attacks done by the user's hands affecting all enemies within a cylindrical area, regardless of cover. Donkey Kong is the only character capable of using this "weapon", hence the name.
Barrel Bolts are ammo-esque weapons with high arcs, short ranges, and damage unhindered by cover. They almost work like grenades launched from a grenade launcher. The Barrel Bolt's function is near-identical to the Grenaduck, except the Barrel Bolt can deal critical hits to enemies behind full cover. Rabbid Cranky is the only character capable of using this weapon.
Super Effects for weapons
This is a list and description of all Super Effects in the game weapons can inflict. Sentry secondary weapons, Mecha Jr., and the game's four bosses are all immune to Super Effects.
