World 5-1 is the first level of World 5, in New Super Mario Bros. It is the first and the only level to include Snow Spikes.
Layout
The level begins with a Snow Spike and several Goombas. Mario also has to avoid falling snow and deep snow. Shortly after this, Mario can get the first Star Coin. After he checkpoint, Mario can also get the second and third Star Coins. After avoiding more falling snow and more enemies, Mario reaches the Goal Pole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1 - In mid air before the checkpoint.
- Star Coin 2 - Above a Koopa Paratroopa after the checkpoint.
- Star Coin 3 - Near a Block Stack.
