Re:Delete it for meEdit

I marked the image for deletion. Next time you want a personal image to be deleted, tough, you can tag it with {{delete}}.   Yoshi Egg 1990   14:46, 26 August 2018 (EDT)

Ok!! I'll look at this. I'm begginer already. lol. --  (talk) 12:42, 27 August 2018 (EDT)

ImagesEdit

Hello, DyeffersonAz. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:

Images Audio/video files

When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use:

[[Category:Super Mario World images]]
or
[[Category:Super Mario World media files]]

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Thanks by the warning YoshiEgg1990 (talk)! I'll look at that next time! Will I need to categorize the earlier uploads? --  (talk) 17:49, 27 August 2018 (EDT)

TransparencyEdit

That's all right, just try to remember that for the future.   (T|C) 12:52, 28 August 2018 (EDT)

Show previewEdit

Hi. I've noticed that you're making several edits in a row. I recommend the Show preview button, next to the Save page button, to see the results of your edit without actually making a permanent change. Making so many edits kinda floods the recent changes page and since the edits are to your userpage, you could get a warning, since you're not supposed to make a lot of userspace edits. Thanks. Keep contributing!

Re:How was File:Large Coin SPP.gif got?Edit

well i went to the spriter's resource, looked up super princess peach, downloaded a sheet containing the frames for the animation, cropped each frame and made them each into a separate .png file, made the background transparent, and put each frame in a .gif maker. then i exported the gif and uploaded it here for use on the wiki. simple. --Mariofan9000 (talk) 15:08, 28 August 2018 (EDT)

Regarding your talk page commentsEdit

Simply requesting them isn't going to get it fulfilled. This is an open-editing wiki. Why not make the changes yourself rather than asking others to do it for you?   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:39, 1 September 2018 (EDT)

It's not against policy actually, but I've patrolled changes (particularly edits to talk pages) and I just noticed that pattern coming from you and wanted to give some helpful advice (I hope). You say you have some trouble formatting, but I see that you made a signature just fine (just needs to be put into a subst template, see Help:Signature). How did you figure out to make a signature? If you can figure out how to make a signature, I think you can figure out some formatting! Like for appearances table, you can try to look at another article that does have it and pay attention to the table layout, see where the text fall in. If you want to play around with table, try MarioWiki:Sandbox.   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:04, 1 September 2018 (EDT)
Sure, and if you run into any trouble, I'll try helping you.   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:09, 1 September 2018 (EDT)
I don't know that for a fact. It's just from my perception. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:32, 1 September 2018 (EDT)
I suppose that it's fine then. Don't think calling it "phased out" is accurate though, as I was under impression that people were actively removing them due to a proposal I wasn't aware of. :P   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:36, 1 September 2018 (EDT)

Map imagesEdit

Thanks for uploading more map images for the Super Mario Bros. 3 levels! They should go in the Layout sections rather than the top of the article, though, as its length just makes the text look odd.

Also, noticed you were having trouble with the World 1-1 image revisions. Pressing Ctrl+F5 after you reupload will refresh the page and show the current revision.    15:52, 3 September 2018 (EDT)

Sorry! I'll make it in the newer editions! --  (talk) 17:21, 3 September 2018 (EDT)

SMB controlsEdit

You need to give talk page posts like that some time before someone sees it and responds. Often you won't get a reply straight away, and it may take a few days. If it's a question that needs answering, tagging it with {{talk}} might help.

Though now that I've seen it, I'm sure the original controls are mapped to the equivalent Wii U controls by default (as this video shows), with the D-Pad / left Control Stick being used to move, A to jump etc. No reason they would change them.   Mario JC 08:34, 16 September 2018 (EDT)

If you want to bring attention to the question or problem, sure.   Mario JC 08:58, 16 September 2018 (EDT)
The positions of the buttons have always been like that, though. The video shows B on the NES controller is B on the Wii U GamePad anyway. Also, since I've already answered your question, the {{talk}} notice is no longer necessary.   Mario JC 09:14, 16 September 2018 (EDT)
