I hereby differ you to Wario-Man's single article. Thank you for your time. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:08, 4 December 2017 (EST)

A flippant attitude does not make a strong argument, especially considering other separate pages like Toad (move) and Banana Peel (move). Hello, I'm Time Turner. 00:22, 4 December 2017 (EST)
I think what Doc von Schmeltwick is referring to is to merge both the character and Final Smash into one, since in this case it's basically the same thing. I hope that is what I'm referring to, the wording looked kind of funny.Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 00:30, 4 December 2017 (EST)
That's exactly what I mean. The content isn't different enough, as is the case for those other things. I'm talking the "transformation" final smash thing, not the "carrying/throwing a thing" type. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:34, 4 December 2017 (EST)
Now i'm not expert on game and watch stuff but is the Octopus in the games just a transformed Mr. Game & Watch? Chester Alan Arthur (talk)
No one and everyone is Mr. Game & Watch in the Game & Watch Games. That is to say, that Mr. Game & Watch from the Smash Bros. games is a conglomeration of basically everyone from the old system games, as his moveset attests to. And we don't need an article for "That person from Juggler" or "That bloke from Manhole" or "Those firemen from Fire", so the octopus being in the old system and the Gallery games is a tenuous reason at best, even if some others were replaced with Mario characters. "Obstacle" would probably be a better identifier. Regardless, agreed. The Final Smash Octopus already has its own page, so there's no need for the Smash info to be here when this page is about the obstacle rather than the transformation. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 11:47, 4 December 2017 (EST)
