The term Shroobified is used to describe someone or something that has been altered, changed, or created by the Shroob alien race in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. This most commonly refers to how the Shroobs placed purple fungus-like growths around the Mushroom Kingdom, transforming some people into Shroob Mushrooms. Fortunately the process can be reversed by baby tears. When exposed to these tears, people who have been turned into Shroob Mushrooms will return to their normal selves, a process known as re-toadification, even when used in reference to non-Toads. In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, various enemies resembled Fawful instead. This process is known as Fawfulization according to Fawful.
