Miami is a city in the Real World, and is located in the state of Florida, in the United States.
In The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Life's Ruff", Hip and Hop Koopa had transformed Luigi and King Windbag into dogs with the king's Magic Wand. In their attempt to get away from Luigi and King Windbag, Hip and Hop went down a Warp Pipe which warped them to Miami.
In Miami, Hip and Hop boarded a trackless train which took them into a hotel, while Luigi and King Windbag followed behind. At the hotel, Hip and Hop started a food fight, while King Windbag failed to get his wand back. Eventually, Herman the dog catcher was called in, and succeeded in capturing Luigi and King Windbag, whom he took to Florida State Poochitentiary, while Hip and Hop made off in a sports car.
After breaking out of the Poochitentiary, Luigi and Kind Windbag left the vicinity of Miami, and pursued Hip and Hop to the Kennedy Space Center.
