MarioWiki:Poll selection

We allow users to submit polls for use on the Main Page. To get started, add your poll to the bottom of the Poll Submissions section. Mario and game-related polls are encouraged.

It's important not to exceed 10 options. Polls will be selected by vote, then archived. Unfit polls may be thrown out.

Poll Selection

To nominate a poll to be chosen for the following week, move the poll from the submission section to this section and vote for it by placing your signature under it. Each user can only choose one poll to vote for, and when that poll is chosen and archived, you get your vote back to choose another poll. Revisions to the question/answers are allowed as long as you note them. You cannot nominate or vote on your own poll.

Poll Deletion

The same process for selecting polls will be used to clean the submissions of unusable polls: Nominate a poll for deletion in this section, except in this case include both an area for users to vote to delete the poll as well as keep it. Each user has one deletion vote until the poll is removed from this section (as either kept or deleted). When it is clear what the majority wants, action will be taken. If a poll has been nominated and is chosen to be deleted, it is automatically removed from the nomination process.
