Diamonds are large, colorful jewels that first appear in Wario's Woods. In both versions of the game, the rare diamonds appear within the battlefield by being stacked up on top of Wario's minions. Diamonds appear whenever Toad, the game's main protagonist, performs a combo move on the monsters. While they can not be collected, Toad can use the diamonds throughout his battles as a weapon by matching them up appropriately to the monster and/or bomb of the same color. Additionally, destroying a diamond along with the monsters and bombs will allow Toad to accumulate more points at the end of the level.
