Blue Crabbers[1][2] are enemies in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, along its Nintendo Switch port. They are blue versions of the red Crabber, and they rarely appear at a time. They protect themselves more than red Crabbers, and defeating one drops a 1-Up.
History
Super Mario Galaxy
Blue Crabbers first appear in this game. One appears on the beach of Bigmouth’s Gold Bait, and the other ones reside on the Deep Dark Galaxy.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Blue Crabbers return in the sequel. They appear in Rolling Crabber Romp, and the Battle Belt Galaxy.

The contemporaneous name for each language is listed first. Subsequent names are listed in chronological order for each language, from oldest to newest, and have the media with which they are associated in the "notes" column. Names exclusive to localizations of the Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia are not prioritized due to concerns about circular reporting, and are only listed first for their respective languages if they are the only ones available.
