They are bought the Castle Town Fashion House after Queen Bean is defeated, and as such are one of the earliest items purchasable there, as well as the earliest overall-type gear available to both bros. It increases DEF by 10 and HP by 4 in the original and DEF by 15 and BP by 4 in the remake, but does not have any special effects.
