Toadstool Cafe, known as Kinopio's Cafe in Japan,[1] is a restaurant in all three Super Nintendo World locations. It is a Toad House-themed restaurant which serves various Super Mario-themed dishes and drinks, such as Mario's Bacon Cheeseburger, the Super Mushroom Pizza Bowl, and the ? Block Tiramisu.
Shelves behind the counter display various items, including: Turnip, Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, Yoshi eggs, Super Leaf, Super Bell, Mini Mushroom, Super Acorn, Ice Flower and 1-Up Mushroom.[2] The main dining area features designs of various Super Mario items on the ceiling, as well as a Warp Pipe and Mushroom display at the center. Screens seen along the walls mimic fake windows, depicting various scenes looping in them. A screen at the entrance of the restaurant depicts Chef Toad talking to attendees, while other screens depict other parts of the kitchen, with Toad chefs preparing food. Some screens also depict outside view of various Toads walking past the cafe, with Toad Houses and hills behind them. A windmill from the Mario Kart 8 version of Moo Moo Meadows can be seen on one. Occasionally, dark clouds will gather outside the fake windows, and airships begin attacking the restaurant by shooting Bullet Bills.[3] A screen at the end of a Warp Pipe depicts a snowy area with Penguin Toads and Penguins.
"Ending" from Super Mario World,[4] "Main Theme" and "Slider" from Super Mario 64,[5] "Egg Planet", "Rosalina in the Observatory" and "Gusty Garden Galaxy" from Super Mario Galaxy[3][5] and "Mount Volbono: Town" from Super Mario Odyssey[6] can play inside Toadstool Cafe. Arrangements of "Castle Theme" from New Super Mario Bros. Wii and "Attack of the Airships" from Super Mario Galaxy play during the airship attacks.[3]
A small panel inside the cafe contains two Gift Boxes, a small one and a large one. Guests can tap their Power-Up Band to open one of the boxes, collecting the prize inside and awarding the guest with their respective stamp.[7] The following items can be gained from the gift boxes:
