Hello there, 'Shroom readers! Tomodachi Life. That is all.
The Ducks vs. Rabbits 'Shroomfest has come to a close! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and participated in the event, we got some pretty interesting discussions and factoids going! You're probably more interested in finding out what the outcome is, so check out the 'Shroomfest Highlights to see how things ended up!
Next month, Issue 230 will be celebrating Lakituthequick's 100th issue as Website Manager! We're going for a sky theme this time around, with things like clouds and weather phenomena being in the spotlight as well! Let's make it a good one, because if anyone deserves a special issue around here it's frankly LTQ. There's plenty of things on-topic to the theme across the Mario franchise if you're looking to contribute a themed section, and we'd love to see something from you! And speaking of clouds, check out the Cloudgazing feature in this issue to see how you can be part of a special feature for next month!
Also, Awards season is starting! Get hyped!!

How in the world are the temperatures already in the 80s? It's only April! While this weather sure is bizarre, Issue 229 of 'The Shroom is relatively normal and bound to give you comfort wherever you are.
I don't have much to say personal-wise, other than the fact that I finally got my Ralsei plushie! He's so small and soft and definitely worth waiting two months for! Being Poll Committee Chairman is also nice; you should see the amount of energy happening behind the scenes! This committee is a very nice group and I can't wait to see what this term brings.

- Fake News has THREE News Flushes just waiting to be read!
- Martendo (talk), a brand new writer, provides a report on Mario Kart racers arguing if Spiny Shells should be banned or not, and boy does it get heated!
- Zdrmonster Productions talks about a missing shiny Ditto named Blue Bubblo. If you've seen a female Squirtle, than you should contact Pokémon Newscenter!
- I write about a Bulrush freely roaming Toad Town! Just how did it get there in the first place? Maybe an interview with a witness could shed some light on the situation.
- Palette Swap has When Sparks Fly, which doesn't involve me in any way! Boo1268 and Cloudwalker (talk) collaborated to provide us a story featuring some of their OCs in a café environment with an epic battle with plenty of hip, trendy talk!
