So,Category:Hammer techniques at the time of writing is the hot new category around the block. Naturally, as an RPG where half of the character's primary attacking options are Hammers, a lot of the categories usage is occurring around this series' Bros. Moves. Things like Bomb Derby, Mega Thwonk, and Chopper Bros. are pretty clear cut. This move is less so. Thunder Bros. in its base form doesn't use Hammers at all, it a move where Luigi jumps off Mario to get high above the enemies and hit them with lightning. It's Super Thunder Bros. that's being unfair: in that move Mario uses Dunk Hammer, to send Luigi underground so that he delivers an electric uppercut to an enemy. Dunk Hammer is definitely Hammer-y enough to be a Hammer technique, and in theory that should extend to Super Thunder Bros., but since regular Thunder Bros. is the main topic I guess it shouldn't. But then having a category that doesn't contain Super Thunder Bros. is awkward, so then we should add Thunder Bros. to the category. And around the circle we go.
Normally, this kind of problem is easily solved with a redirect. Create "Super Thunder Bros." and put the category there. This solution leaves the version Thunder Bros. performed using its Advanced Command in the lurch. It's proto-Super Thunder Bros. so the same description from above applies, only that Thunder Bros. performed using its Advanced Command does not have its own name.
