Talk:Sea of poison

Why is this an article? It's just a larger body of poison that is just described this way in the Lost Kingdom brochure because of how vast it is. It would be like creating an article called "Sea of lava" just because a manual says "Bowser's Castle is surrounded by a sea of lava"; it's an expression, not a uniquely named thing, and the only difference is its scale.
"responsible for its remoteness and strange fauna" "The surrounding wildlife has adapted to its dangerous conditions, including both plants and inhabitants" - These statements are also unsourced, and the brochure doesn't say these.

- I think it was confused for a proper name. In English at least it isn't. The game is describing a sea that happens to consist of poison instead of water, and is doing so poetically. (This is why this one menu has two names for the same thing, because its being described in two different ways to fit the two different sections. It's not a Handmade Ocean (but then again the Handmade Ocean doesn't even have an article, and if that doesn't have an article for reasons of being too minor, then things look even worse for this "sea of poison". I'd delete the article, but only after someone checks the Spanish text to be sure that didn't give this a proper noun name. Salmancer (talk) 07:16, November 16, 2025 (EST)
- I thought it was a name and found it interesting. However, if it's really not worth it, I don't mind if the page is deleted.
