Question[edit]
Could the naming scheme of this world be inspired by the song "The Big Rock Candy Mountains"? Just asking.

- Late response, but I kind of doubt it. Given Nintendo's long history of naming locations/characters in this series after food, it's probably just be a coincidence. It may warrant a mention in the Notes section, however. Wandering Poplin (talk) 20:09, January 8, 2026 (EST)
- I think it's even more unlikely than usual given all of New Super Mario Bros. U's world names are named after food, with especially forced puns like Layer-Cake Desert and Frosted Glacier. Essentially, this is "someone combined rock candy and mountains at some point before Nintendo did" which is really pushing our limits on speculation especially when the world's name doesn't have "mountain" in it. I personally wouldn't even put it in the Notes section. Salmancer (talk) 20:23, January 8, 2026 (EST)
"High Cliff"[edit]
Is there any real evidence the backdrop from the movie is indeed the Rocky Candy Mine? I know the stone mountains/rocks have some kind of resemblence to the ones from RCM, but there is not much else that points towards a definitive comfirmation. --
