(First topic)[edit]
Orteil (creator of cookie clicker) has said that the "egg" upgrade is not a reference to anything in particular: https://orteil42.tumblr.com/post/101324148095/the-flavor-text-hey-its-egg-is-that-a. I do understand that it resembles a yoshi egg, but the creator specifically denying any reference when the game is loaded with references to random things should be reason that it shouldn't be on this page (at least that's what I think). - As the ones who originally added the reference, we did vaguely recall Orteil saying this, but we couldn't re-find this statement at the time of adding it. We'd definitely be fine removing it now that we have actual confirmation this wasn't just some weird misremembered statement about something else. ;P
