Music[edit]

I'm not very smart with music, and sorry I ask too much questions about music, so I was wondering if the music that plays in Bowser Castle 1 (and subsequent Bowser Castle courses) is a cover version of the final boss theme from Super Mario World? 107.206.92.13 21:58, 19 November 2016 (EST)

Yes.
Now would you mind not asking so many music questions? If you're "not smart with music", your edits should not be focusing on it. Try a different approach to your wiki contributions, one that you feel more confident with and don't need to ask constant questions about. Dark BonesSig.png 22:15, 19 November 2016 (EST)

Is the identifier really necessary now?[edit]

Considering this discussion, why do the SNES Bowser Castle 1-3 still need an identifier when the current GBA Bowser's Castles don't need one, and there are no other Bowser Castle 1-3 either? ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits) 10:09, June 29, 2025 (EDT)

Because the GBA courses were also previously referred to as "Bowser Castle". Ashley costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 10:46, June 29, 2025 (EDT)
It's not currently the title of those articles though. The point of identifiers is to distinguish between pages that would otherwise have identical titles, which this isn't really doing, it's just making it a bit more complicated to search and link to. We could probably just have none of them use identifiers and leave the disambiguating to the hatnote templates. Hewer (talk · contributions · edit count) 07:46, July 11, 2025 (EDT)
Swoops were originally known as Swoopers and yet the glider still uses the identifier, and there are many other instances on the wiki of subjects preserving notable former or alternate names as redirects too. Even if they're not the current names anymore, they're still names people would know them by and omitting the identifier would make things confusing.
