Strike Orb

A Strike Orb is a type of power-up in Mario Strikers: Battle League. It enables player characters to perform their Hyper Strikes. During a match, the Strike Orb appears as an orange sphere on the field. To utilize it, a player must touch the Orb. Once touched, all members of that player's team will glow in a color that corresponds with their team (for example, red for the Rockets).
All players on that team can then execute their Hyper Strikes, but only if they have the ball and are on the opponent's side of the field. If no player uses a Hyper Strike within about 20 seconds, the effects of the Orb will wear off. Additionally, if a player is tackled while attempting a Hyper Strike, the Orb's effects will be interrupted.
