- Scrooge200 (talk) I've been working on this article a lot lately, and I think it's finally time to see if it can join Paper Mario, Super Paper Mario, and Paper Mario: Sticker Star as featured articles. I used a lot of what Sticker Star did to organize this page as reference. Two subjects from this game, King Olly and Musee Champignon, are also featured. There is a very comprehensive plot section with images. I am especially proud of the gameplay detail. This includes intricate detail on important mechanics that are not explained by the game itself, and I have not seen elaborated on anywhere else on the Internet. This includes partner accuracy values, what exactly angry enemies do (the game explicitly gives you incorrect information about this), how Clear Bonuses work, how to instakill enemies with a First Strike, and how to get accessory discounts. I have recently overhauled the Koopa Troop/misc characters, enemies, and Paper Macho sections to have more information rather than just being galleries or bullet-pointed lists. There is a full list of objects separated by category, and a similar list for obstacles. No missing images are present on the article, and a majority of them are high quality. We also have some excellent custom renders courtesy of Zaku, such as File:PMTOK Timer Extender icon render.png and File:PMTOK Hint Envelope render.png. I also made a few custom renders myself, such as File:PMTOK Panel Attack.png and File:PMTOK Panel Rock.png. Release dates, foreign names, and age ratings are sourced per recent policy. A small selection of quotes has been added to avoid it being an empty section. The game has a comprehensive gallery and a complete sound test article with media. False information has been removed from the pre-release and unused content section, and the accessory section. Given how obtuse and convoluted this game's inner workings are (1236 Ink Toad sprites ily), I think it explains everything more than good enough. It kind of surprises me how neglected this main game article has been, since it's going on five years since release. It reminds me of a comment about Super Mario Bros. Special and its nomination, that "Hopefully this will set a standard to separate a game from its article, and better document other generally disliked and/or obscure games." Scrooge200 (talk)
20:16, December 19, 2025 (EST) - Wandering Poplin (talk) I've been repeatedly revisiting this game for five years, but yet, the article recently taught me some deep-cut information I didn't know about before. That's an example of how informative it is.
- Killer Moth (talk) Just went through the article. Looks to be in great shape and is very informative, especially for someone like me who doesn't own the game.
- Sparks (talk) Very thorough and detailed, thus fit for Featured Status. Nice work!
- Power Flotzo (talk) Per the others.
- Yoshi18 (talk) Per all!

I think it is missing one bit of information, Shouldn't there be a section about the development, like how Super Paper Mario's article includes a section on how the design or ideas for the game came together? I vaguely recall that there might have been a few interviews regarding it on YouTube somewhere. Wandering Poplin (talk) 21:14, December 19, 2025 (EST)
@Scrooge200 Before I vote, I should point out that your bulleted list breaks the vote count. Could you fix it? Power Flotzo (talk) 23:21, December 19, 2025 (EST)
