- On April 1, 2025, it was announced on Nintendo Today! (pictured) that the Super Mario Wiki got an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming Mario Kart game for the Nintendo Switch 2. Titled Mario Kart 11, the game debuts a fuel mechanic, among other new features.
- In the Nintendo Direct presentation aired on March 27, 2025, a type of software management was revealed for the Nintendo Switch called virtual game cards, which enables users to load digital games from one Nintendo Switch to another in a similar manner to inserting physical game cartridges, and is planned to launch in late April 2025 via a system update, with Nintendo Switch 2 support confirmed for the future. Furthermore, Shigeru Miyamoto unveiled a news application titled Nintendo Today!, which was released shortly after the Nintendo Direct.
- The soundtrack from the NES version of Dr. Mario was made available on the Nintendo Music app on March 17, 2025.
- On March 13, 2025, Nintendo San Francisco was announced to have its grand opening on May 15, 2025.
