Hajime Terminal is the starting location of Jikken World in Mario Artist: Polygon Studio. It contains no blocks to be collected. Instead, it acts as a central hub, containing various portals to other areas in the game. Initially, only the portal to the grasslands area of Porigoneshia is unlocked, but the player can unlock other portals by going to their respective locations in both Porigoneshia and Kūchū Teien Porigonā. The following is a list of all portals available:

  • (kusa, "grass"): Leads to the grasslands area of Porigoneshia.
  • (mizu, "water"): Leads to the large lake in Porigoneshia.
  • (yama, "mountain"): Leads to the top of the largest mountain in Porigoneshia.
  • (hashira, "pillar"): Leads to the top of the pillar at the entrance to Kūchū Teien Porigonā.
  • (sora, "sky"): Leads to the top of a building in the middle of Kūchū Teien Porigonā.

A Dash no Panel in the middle of the room facilitates access between its two sides, one containing the three portals to Porigoneshia and the other containing the three portals to Kūchū Teien Porigonā. A few shokupan messages can also be found in the area.
