Pipe Plaza
Pipe Plaza is a Battle Mode course selectable in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and reincluded in Mario Kart DS. As its name implies, there are a total of four pipes for the drivers to teleport with from a lower ground to an upper wire mesh area or vice versa. There are a few Item Boxes around the course. Otherwise, it is as simplistic as the other battle courses of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. In Mario Kart DS it is one of the smaller courses like Nintendo DS or Tart Top, giving out more havoc and smaller ranged attacks. It also contains many Item Boxes.
There is some way here to get your opponents off-guard. Enter one of the pipes located at the lower area of the course (or other pipes of your preference). Do this while holding an obstacle item (like Banana or Fake Item Box), then as you land, release the L button. Whoever went in the same pipe you went in will crash to the trap you laid. The trap you laid may be quite difficult to dodge, depending how far you've placed the trap from the pipe.
