Peach Parasol (glider)
Template:Articleabout Template:Kart-infobox The Peach Parasol is an unlockable glider part in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart 8. As its name states, it is a pink umbrella frequently accompanied by Princess Peach. It offers a small acceleration boost, while hindering the weight stat. Like all the other gliders, it allows karts to go airborne for a brief time period.
Mario Kart 7
The Peach Parasol makes its first appearance in Mario Kart 7. Like the Birthday Girl, its color only changes when it's used by female characters: Princess Peach (pink), Princess Daisy (orange), Rosalina (turquoise), and Honey Queen (purple); all the other characters use Peach's personal pink parasol. It gives a small boost to acceleration but makes the kart slightly lighter. It has the same stats as the Flower Glider.

Mario Kart 8
The Peach Parasol returns in Mario Kart 8, and is now more opaque and adorned with a royal pattern on the white line and the shaft is now brown instead of tan. The same color changes apply like the previous game. Baby Daisy and Baby Rosalina both use the same different-colored versions of the glider as their adult counterparts, the only female characters to use the standard pink color besides Peach, Baby Peach, Pink Gold Peach, Cat Peach, are Toadette and Wendy O. Koopa, which means that the color changes only apply when using Princesses. The glider has the same stats as it does in Mario Kart 7, and it shares its stats with the Cloud Glider, Parachute, Parafoil, Bowser Kite, MKTV Parafoil and Hylian Kite.

Trivia
- Germany is the only country where this glider is referred to simply as the Parasol without Peach's name, which is ironic as the glider itself is based after Peach's personal accessories from the series since Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
- Also, the Netherlands is the only country where this glider has two different names between the games, even though they both translate into English as Peach's Parasol.
