A 20-Point Star[1] (originally formatted as 20 Point Star)[2] is a Special Item that a Yoshi can collect in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its reissue, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. It can be obtained by winning certain minigames, or Mini Battles. It is worth 20 Stars, giving a Yoshi 20 more seconds for the Countdown Timer. There is a similar Special Item called a 10-Point Star.

- Like regular Stars and the 10 Point Star, the 20 Point Star was originally represented by a clock in prototype builds of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and it additionally replenished 50 to the Countdown Timer instead of 20.[4]
