Jibberjay, Super Mario Galaxy 2

They are multi-colored birds that primarily appear in orange coloration but can also be black, green, yellow, red, and cyan. They appear in two galaxies in the game: first in the Wild Glide Galaxy and then later on in the Fleet Glide Galaxy. Jibberjay's letter.

Two Jibberjays appear in the Wild Glide Galaxy's first level where one teaches Mario Fluzzard Gliding and later on sends him through a course being carried by Fluzzard. If Mario completes the course, the Jibberjay will give him a Power Star. The same thing happens later on in the Fleet Glide Galaxy. Later on in the Wild Glide Galaxy, after completing Step To The Beep in Beat Block Galaxy, a Black Jibberjay will send Mario a letter requesting a race. The Black Jibberjay will then race Mario and Fluzzard along with four of his Jibberjay followers.

Later on, after completing the second level of the Wild Glide Galaxy and beating four Jibberjays in a race, one Jibberjay will return with Mario to Starship Mario and give him advice on how to control Fluzzard whenever spoken to.
