In ''[[Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour]]'', the name "Plurp" can appear on the leaderboard.

A variety of this enemy called [[Cluckboom]]s appear in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]'' and ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. They behave similarly but drop explosive [[bomb]]s instead of goop.
*[[Cluckboom]]s, enemies that look similar to Coo Coos, appear in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]'', and its sequel, ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. Their method of attacking Mario is by dropping [[Bomb]]s on him, similar to a Coo Coo's method of dropping Goop on Mario.

Plurps (also spelled Plirps),[1] also known as Coo Coos,[2][3] are hen-like creatures that only appear in Super Mario Sunshine. They resemble large chickens, with two beady green eyes and a star on their bellies. Plurps first make an appearance in Bianco Hills, where they fly around randomly and drop splotches of goop whenever they get near Mario. They later appear in Episode 3 of Pianta Village, where they drop burning goop. Plurps can be defeated by jumping on them or by spraying them to the ground with FLUDD. They release several coins with each spray, and can eventually drop a 1-Up Mushroom.

In Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, the name "Plurp" can appear on the leaderboard.

A variety of this enemy called Cluckbooms appear in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. They behave similarly but drop explosive bombs instead of goop.
