Choppahs[1] are a type of enemy appearing in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They appear as green creatures that lack legs. Each Choppah has an orange spiked helmet and has a propeller around it, giving the enemy the ability to fly. Its name is a corruption of "chopper," an alternate term for "helicopter," referring to the enemy's propeller. Choppahs fly in a vertical straight line in most galaxies.
Choppahs first appear in the Honeybloom Galaxy as the main obstacles. These enemies later appear in the Sweet Mystery Galaxy (where they are only seen flying horizontally), Honeyhop Galaxy, and Flip-Out Galaxy, as well as during the Grandmaster Galaxy's mission The Perfect Run.
