Tuxie's mother is a penguin who appears in Super Mario 64 and in Super Mario 64 DS. She is the mother of Tuxie, a little penguin, and appears in the course Cool, Cool Mountain. She is nervous and worried that her daughter, Tuxie, has run away, so Mario has to look for her. If Tuxie is rescued, Tuxie's Mother will reward Mario with a Power Star.

If Tuxie is taken back after being delivered to Tuxie's mother, she will angrily chase Mario until he drops Tuxie. However, she does not react in any way if Mario drops Tuxie off the edge.
