Wafers[1] are collectibles that replace coins in the Atari 2600 version of Mario Bros. Like the coins, they appear out of the pipes after Mario or Luigi defeats an enemy and move along the ground. Coins, however, do appear in the bonus phases instead of wafers. Each wafer grants 800 points when collected.
