:That definitely seems like an improvement over what's currently on [[Lineland]]. Two things in particular stood out to me as things that could be improved. The first was the boss information. We typically don't cover information on a boss in the article for the level or area in which the boss is fought. In fact, the main exception to the convention of keeping the level and boss information separated is the various ''Donkey Kong'' series bosses, which actually have the level information on boss pages to avoid redundancy and one-liners. The second thing that stood out to me was only a minor detail. You included some good information on where the Catch Cards were located in the main summary. I'd advise taking that one step further and making a list of the Cards available in each level similar to what is done with the enemies found in each level. Hope that helped. {{User:Bop1996/sig}}

Bop1996's Archives

Hello, you have reached my talk page. I'm going to warn you straight up that I am a serious nerd about a lot of things and that I will reflect that in our conversation.

If you plan on having an idle conversation, you should probably read my userpage so you have some idea of who I am. I've been around these parts for roughly a year now, and am a patroller, so if you have some sort of question, I can try to answer it or I can refer you to someone who can. I also have a forums account here, so feel free to pm me there as well. I have accounts on MetroidWiki and ZeldaWiki by the same name, so I can attempt to help with any issues regarding those two wikis I suppose.

A few rules you agree to by posting on my talk page:

  1. I will reply on this page
  2. No spamming, flaming, or any type of offensive language
  3. Spelling and grammar should be as correct as possible
  4. Please sign all of your comments or I will add Template:Unsigned to them. If I haven't added the template, that doesn't mean you should add it for me, I probably had a reason.
  5. I can only keep up a coherent conversation in English
  6. For other NIWA wiki users; casual discussion can go on any wiki, wiki-based goes on the wiki it is based on.

Now that that's over with, feel free to create a new header and talk to me.

My current editing status is: Actively patrolling the recent changes

i cant move it could you help me? bop Nintendo 64 logodude 14:54, 14 February 2012 (EST)

All you have to do is go to the subpage, click "edit", then type in {{delete}}. Unfortunately for you, I cannot do it for you since editing other users' userspace is a privilege limited to sysop or bureaucrat, but if you can mark the page like I said above, it'll be deleted. Bop1996 (Talk)

Really Fast

Whoa, that talk page was archived really fast. It wasn't too big, really. I made my first archive so check it out. I only had to ask Knife... why is he named after a murder weapon yet meant to be trusted? It's unsettling...SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 20:37, 17 February 2012 (EST)
Because as an editor, he's proven trustworthy. It really doesn't have anything to do with his name. My archive filled up very fast, yes. Bop1996 (Talk)
It isn't filled up at all! BTW, if you wanted to be the first comment on my first archive, it's too late. Feel free to drop by and talk! See how I did creating the link!SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 14:44, 18 February 2012 (EST)
Did ya see it? Is it correct or do you have something to tell me that I did wrong?SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 16:18, 18 February 2012 (EST)
You archived correctly, as far as I know. Bop1996 (Talk)
YES! First time I did something right... but your latest archive is a bit small to be considered an archive.SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 16:22, 18 February 2012 (EST)
There's not really an official length for archives. Mine was around 53,000 bytes and thirty headers, which is a comfortable archive length for me. Therefore, I archived it. Bop1996 (Talk)
Oh, okay. I see. Well, I've almost acheived my goal of 1000 edits, so don't expect me to answer immeadiately. Thanks!SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 16:32, 18 February 2012 (EST)
Can you block this for me? I don't want any one editing it but I can't block it myself. Nobody's supposed to edit it, but vandaliser's would find it funny to break the rules and it not being blocked makes it an easy target. Please block it. Thanks!SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 16:48, 18 February 2012 (EST)
I can't protect pages. Bop1996 (Talk)
Yeah. It says "block" (patrollers) and you're a patroller, so you can block pages. If you seriously can't, please direct me to someone online who can.SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 21:13, 18 February 2012 (EST)
I've already asked Porplemontage, and as the creator of this wiki, I'm 100% positive he has the authority to block it. You don't need to direct me to someone else after all. How 'bout that?SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 21:19, 18 February 2012 (EST)
I don't block pages from being edited, I block other users from editing. There's a big difference. Bop1996 (Talk)
Oh, I need the page protected, though... I asked Porplemontage but as per usual he hasn't answered. Or done anything. I really worry that someone's gonna come along and screw it up because no one's protected it yet. I really need it protected. Can you please do something to help?!SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 21:28, 18 February 2012 (EST)
Hello? Are you gone too? Am I all alone? WILL ANYONE ANSWER ME?!SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 22:00, 18 February 2012 (EST)
STOP IGNORING ME! I need help and I would hope other users might respect that and help their fellow users instead of leaving them in the dark!SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 22:15, 18 February 2012 (EST)
I don't think your archive really needs protecting. Really, the only thing you can do is ask a sysop nicely and see if they'll do it. I can't do anything more than that. Bop1996 (Talk)
I DON'T KNOW ANY STUPID SYSOPS! THAT'S WHY I WAS ASKING YOU! DO YOU KNOW ANY SYSOPS I COULD ASK? IF NOT, THEN... I DON'T KNOW!*pant* Sorry. I lost my cool. Visit my talk page and give me a warning if you think I was rude. Just please lead me to an online sysop.SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 22:20, 18 February 2012 (EST)

GameFreak75

Ok how did GameFreak75 get duplicated? It looks like they are the same but i don't know how it has been a copy hack and possibly been created? I know this log where you blocked the duplicate account:

  • 12:36, 24 February 2012 Bop1996 (Talk | contribs) blocked GameFreak75 (Talk | contribs) with an expiry time of indefinite (account creation disabled) ‎ (Sockpuppet of an existing account: Impersonating an administrator)

I can't think of why it is abnormal like that.--Mickey 20:59, 29 February 2012 (EST)

Well, in this case at least, the F in Gamefreak75 was capitalized, when in the original name it was lowercase, so that explains this particular case. However, I'm not exactly sure how the ones without such differences are allowed. I do know, however, that MediaWiki handled it without problems, so none of the non-sock accounts were blocked. Making these creative titles is hard...

Userbox?

Hey Bop1996, what's up?

i'd like to know if you can create a userbox for me to put on my tower.

that's all i need. i'm not rushing you to do this though. thanks! Super Luigi 128Captain Select texture data for Luigi.

I'm pretty sure it's on the pages of people I've exchanged boxes with before, but not on my page. Bop1996 (Talk)

Possible BJAODN content?

Hey Bop!

I was looking through some articles today, and I happen to stumble upon this sentence on the Wet-Dry World page: "Wet-Dry World is the eleventh course in Super Mario 64 (and its remake Super Mario 64 DS) filled with water.".

My immediate reaction to this:
>eleventh course
>filled with water
>implying that Bob-omb Battlefield has any water
BJAODN Y/N? PidgeyIcon.pngRandomYoshi(TalkPMsC) 08:44, 12 March 2012 (EDT)

I would say yes, given that it's a fairly comical error (albeit a somewhat easy one to make), but since the implications are ridiculous, it's worth sticking there. Bop1996 (Talk)
Thanks for the input. I'll be putting it there right now. PidgeyIcon.pngRandomYoshi(TalkPMsC) 04:58, 13 March 2012 (EDT)

Two Walkazos (one is obviously the fake)

How it came that there were two Walkazos here?

User:Walkazo

User:WaIkazo

That guy who made the fake one was so smart that the I was perfectly disguised as a lowercase L in computers with fonts such as Helvetica, Arial. --Super Famicom 64 14:36, 14 March 2012 (EDT)

The WaIkazo account was merely a vandal trying to cause trouble and it was blocked already soon after creation. It's about as simple as that, actually. Bop1996 (Talk)

Gotcha

Gotcha. It was because I thought those types were given by someone other else, but now I understand that Nintendo didn't give 'em. It doesn't matter, I stopped doing it a lot of days ago. But I guess I accidentally was on the incorrect side. You won the battle, dude. And tell the beatch of Raven Effect to remove the message on my user talk (but don't tell him I called him beatch, I wrote it in a different way in order to not vandalize). Thank you :)

--Blinx9999guizar 20:38, 17 March 2012 (EDT)

Just don't add them again, and you'll fine in that regard. Also, you aren't allowed to remove your own comments either; strike out any comments or portions of comments you no longer stand by. Bop1996 (Talk)

What Is Wrong With You?

You don't do userbox exchanges anymore? You are making a big mistake you ugly git! Ignore that because you can't read if theres a line there because you're stupid!SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 10:13, 30 March 2012 (EDT)
Because to be honest, there are people on the forums or IRC that I'm better acquainted with than people I'd previously exchanged userboxes with. It really doesn't actually do anything to any friendships I've built, it just saves me a lot of trouble keeping up with something that is insignificant to me. Bop1996 (Talk)

Thanks for setting up the lines in the Items template on the Rogueport page -Pyro

No prob; it's fairly easy if you already know the basics of how to use a table, and it certainly improved the layout of the table. Bop1996 (Talk)

SF64Rules

Hey Bop! It's YoshiKong. I just wish to bring to your attention of a user called SF64Rules (talk). I suspect he/she is a sockpuppet of an existing account because his name means Super Famicom 64 Rules (Super Famicom 64 has recently has a name change to MarioSmasher). MarioSmasher is unfamiliar with that user, and even questioned SF64Rules about who he/she is (as seen here). SF64Rules later removed that comment from the talk page (see here), which I thought was quite suspicious indeed. It is therefore very likely that SF64Rules is a sock, and I ask you to check this user for any matching IP addresses. Thank you :)

Work-Evaluation

Hello there, Bop!

I've started to rewrite level articles that pertain to Super Paper Mario and I am asking you the following: could you please evaluate what I've done here? I'd really appreciate it if you did. Note that I am intending to rewrite all articles, so what is shown there is just a start.

Thanks in advice! PidgeyIcon.pngRandomYoshi(TalkPMsC) 06:58, 5 May 2012 (EDT)
