Square In-game description Notes
The Bank Square from Fortune Street Shops n/a The most common squares, these are the main focus of Fortune Street. A shop can be purchased as long as the player has enough assets (sum of ready cash and stocks) in possession. Purchasing or investing in a shop doesn't decrease net worth, but it costs ready cash to do so.
The Venture Square from Fortune Street Venture Square "Land on this square for a chance to draw a venture card." This square allows a player to choose a card from a random selection of 64 cards. There are 128 cards in total, but 23 of them are exclusive to Standard rules. As such, only 105 cards appear in the Easy rules. A player will also receive gold by lining up four or more cards with their color (10 gold per row) if they line up a whole row they gain 200 gold.

The Diamond Square from Fortune StreetThe Club Square from Fortune Street
Suit "When you pass this suit square, you pick up a A spade suit from Fortune Street/A heart suit from Fortune Street/A diamond suit from Fortune Street/A club suit from Fortune Street. Stop on it exactly for the chance to draw a venture card!" These squares hold one of the four suits. If a player lands directly on it, it acts like a Venture square.
The Spade Change-of-suit Square from Fortune Street Change-of-suit "You pick up a suit when you pass this square. After you take it, the suit on offer changes to another." This is just like a Suit space, except it cycles through all four suits as players pass it.
The Bank Square from Fortune Street Backstreet "When you land on this square, you duck down a backstreet and come out on the other end." Either a warp space or a Warp Pipe, these squares take the player to the connecting square of the same color.
The Take-a-break Square from Fortune Street Take-a-break "When you land on this square, all your shops shut until your next turn." This square makes the player's shops close for one turn.
The Vacant Lot Square from Fortune Street Vacant plot filler Exclusive to Standard rules, these squares allow a player to build upon the land. In Standard rules Free Play, the amount of vacant plots can be set in the custom rules.
The Bank Square from Fortune Street One-Way Doors filler In boards like Robbin' Hood Ruins and Bowser's Castle, these doors take the player to a different part of the board. On Super Mario series boards, they are based on the appearance of the Warp Door from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
The Boon Square from Fortune Street Boon "Land on this square to receive a commission on everyone's profits until your next turn. (20% of all payments made)" Allows the player to receive a 20% commission on all profits made until their next turn.
The Boom Square from Fortune Street Boom filler Allows the player to receive a 50% commission on all profits made until their next turn.
The Arcade Square from Fortune Street Arcade "Land on this square for some serious fun at the mni-game arcade!" This square allows the player to play a minigame.
The Bank Square from Fortune Street Bank "This is the finishing square. You'll also receive your salary each time you return here with all four suits, and you can buy stocks as you pass through." Players who pass the bank can buy stocks in any district. If a player passes by the bank square with all four Suits, they receive a promotion.
The Cannon Square from Fortune Street Cannon filler Only appears on some boards. Allows the player to be blasted to any other player's location.
The Roll-on Square from Fortune Street Roll-on filler Allows the player to roll again.
The Bank Square from Fortune Street Stockbroker filler Similar to the bank (except that it must be landed on), allows the player to buy stocks in any district.
The Bank Square from Fortune Street Lift "You can take the lift to another location. Once you get off the lift, your turn ends."/"This is the lift's destination. It's for getting off the lift only. (You can't take the lift from here.)" Only found on Yoshi's Island.
