The Pokemon Trainer highly resembles Ash, I know he wasn't the Pokemon trainer, but I thought it was a necessary Redirect in case Ash was mistaken as the trainer.

ALL my friends took him for Ash so I see this as necessary. Otherwise, I'd scold all the few (but there aren't only a few) that take him as Ash.

The hair color is different, the eye color is different, and both the style and color of clothing are different. This isn't Ash. Therefore, there's no reason to have a redirect to the trainer called such. Mario4Ever (talk)

There is a disagreement between whether to keep Ash as a redirect to the Pokemon or to not.

1. The real yoshi (talk) I think Ash looks close enough to the Pokemon Trainer to be a necessary redirect. I want to keep it because of the resemblance to Ash that the Pokemon trainer has to Ash and the fact all my friends thought he was Ash.
2. Super Spike (talk) Ash looks almost like the Pokemon Trainer so it should be a redirect.

1. Raven Effect (talk) They aren't similar at all now that I think about it other then being pokemon trainers.

Commander, just because the Pokemon trainer isn't referred to as Ash I'm talking about the people who want to LEARN about SSBB; Not the ones who KNOW most about it. Plus, some people just take a quick look at the game. So, it doesn't matter whether the Trainer is referred as Ash or not, it matters more on who would mistake the Trainer for Ash, you see? But nobody will confuse the two because they are very few physical traits that both Red and Ash have. You don't even have to be a Pokemon fan to know that the character in SSBB is not Ash. GreenDisaster 21:03, 24 May 2012 (EDT)
