:No, we shouldn't. What if Giant Ninji spontaneously appears in another game and gets an official name? Those two reasons you listed aren't enough to warrant a merge between Giant Ninji and Ninji. The main reason the two enemies are split is that they're still different enemies. {{User:LeftyGreenMario/sig}} 19:31, 27 March 2013 (EDT)

Should we marge this with Shy Guy? This is so small, and not really page-worthy. :/ Binarystep (talk) 21:57, 23 March 2013 (EDT) :I agree. LBsig.png LB (talkeditsforum) 22:00, 23 March 2013 (EDT) They're different enemies, though, and I think when you toss them, they let out a heart. Normal Shy Guys don't do that. Plus, Grand Goomba is split from Goomba. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 22:22, 23 March 2013 (EDT)

But Grand Goombas appeared in multiple games. Binarystep (talk) 00:09, 24 March 2013 (EDT)

May i add that giant shyguys also appeared in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! on the Sherbert Land course. - Cubeguy2ver.pngCubeguy(talk)

Also on Mario Kart Wii's DK Summit. - Cubeguy2ver.pngCubeguy(talk)

You guys aren't merging this without creating a proposal first. GreenDisaster (talk) 11:23, 24 March 2013 (EDT)

Concerning Shy Guys in Mario Kart games, those aren't Giant Shy Guys. They're Shy Guys out of proportion, much as how Goombas in Mario Kart 7's Mushroom Gorge aren't really Giant Goombas (even if the article lists them as Giant Goombas). Merge Giant Shy Guy with Shy Guy?

Giant Shy Guys only appeared in one game. Besides, the article doesn't have an official name, and it's really short.

Support

  1. Binarystep (talk) Per my proposal.

Oppose

  1. Marshal Dan Troop (talk) It's bigger then a regular shy guy, it does different things, and it has a unique role. All of these things say that it is in fact a sub species and I see no reason to merge it with Shy Guy because it is not the same thing and no being small is not imo a valid reason to merge something.
  2. LeftyGreenMario (talk) Giant Ninji isn't merged with Ninji, nor is Grand Goomba merged with Goomba. Why? Because they're different enemies and they have different functions. If you're going to merge Giant Shy Guy, you might as well attempt to merge Giant Ninji as well.
  3. Tails777 (talk) We have articles for bigger versions of enemies, this is no different and should stay separate. So per all.
  4. BowserJunior (talk) Per all
  5. Goomba (talk) Per all.
  6. Cubeguy (talk) Per all.
  7. SuperYoshiBros (talk) No way. It's a different enemy. Besides, we don't merge Grand Goomba and Micro-Goomba into Goomba just because they're a different size.
  8. King Pikante (talk) Per all.

If it did, we'd unmerge. Niiue - Who has lost his tail?
