Image quality

A lot of the images on this page are of terrible quality. Plus, is a page like this needed? We can say on each character article what their emblem is. -- Son of Suns (talk)

I think it's quite interesting to know all the characters emblems in just one page. Sorry, but I couldn't find find better images :(

You can contribute to improve this page, if you want. -- tanoomba-chan (talk)

An infobox?

Do we need an infobox for this? If so, what picture will it have?

We don't need an infobox, but we can put an emblem up there... let me see what we can use. I know I'm a bit inclined to use Mario, but I'm going for another thing. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 22:03, 30 March 2014 (EDT)

Emblem List

Where did it go? It seems to have disappeared with the most recent edit. Was this on purpose, or was it a mistake? J-Yoshi64 (talk) 17:20, 14 September 2015 (EDT)

On purpose. We have a list of images, so a description is pretty much redundant. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 19:29, 14 September 2015 (EDT)
Yeah, I don't like the lists bogging down this article. Ideally, I want this article to be a gallery ex-subpage akin to Gallery:Sponsors in the Mario Kart series. But feel free to readd information not covered by the galleries. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:59, 20 September 2015 (EDT)

M&SOWG Emblems

In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, the DS version at least, Emblems are achievements. Should we include this? MP8Mario.pngMarioKid (Talk) Official artwork of Luigi. 10:10, 26 April 2016 (EDT)

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The MK8D emblems are needed (Dry Bones, Bowser Jr., King Boo, Gold Mario and the Inklings) B ron 3000 Luigi's face icon. 13:54, 12 July 2017 (EDT)

They're not ripped yet, mostly because as of now, the Switch is unhackable. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 13:56, 12 July 2017 (EDT)
So you're saying it can't be ripped? B ron 3000 Luigi's face icon. 13:19, 7 August 2017 (EDT)

Bowser's Emblem debut

What was the first game Bowser's Emblem appeared in? This article says Mario Kart DS, but I'm pretty sure it's in earlier games. Thanks Pallukun (talk) 12:27, May 22, 2019 (EDT)

IIRC, it first appeared in Super Mario 64. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 14:18, May 22, 2019 (EDT)
Thanks a bunch :) Pallukun (talk) 21:29, May 22, 2019 (EDT)

Emblems from other games

I think more emblems should be added here, specifically from:

• Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

• Every Mario Tennis game after the original (Aces, Ultra Smash, Open, Power Tennis)

• Possibly Mario Kart Tour?

Most of those have recycled emblems, but I think representing multiple newer games will make this page more complete. Jackson K. (talk) 14:49, October 25, 2019 (EDT)

The list in this page is supposed to have all uses of emblems, so yes. --DeepFriedCabbage 15:10, October 28, 2019 (EDT)

Yes we need the emblems from the newest olympics since for example it has at least one new one like Eggman Nega’s for example 35.136.185.103

Mario Kart Tour Emblem Order?

Should the emblems be from (Normal-Super-High End) or (Super-Normal-High End)? Currently, they are the former. ReedyBuilder (talk) 18:15, December 1, 2019 (EST)

Normal-Super-High End should suffice. After all, for the Mario Kart Wii page and section on this page, we technically start with the light characters. MarioComix (talk) 03:43, July 23, 2020 (EDT)

Dr. Mario World Placed Last?

Is there a reason Dr. Mario World is placed after Mario Kart Tour even though it was released first? If it's because the flags were added to Dr. Mario World after the release of Tour, then I could understand. MarioComix (talk) 03:43, July 23, 2020 (EDT)

Does Mario Kart: Double Dash!! actually have emblems?

I've ripped the textures for each and every kart present in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! so I could add their emblems to the page. Thing is, what exactly are the emblems in this game? Some karts such as the Red Fire have obvious emblem placement, while others like the Piranha Pipe don't at all. Not only that, but you also have the plates in which the second driver stands which have some sort of insignia akin to emblems in them, which often doesn't actually match the emblems for the characters in following games. What do? --Spiny Shell.pngSuperstarxalien169Spiny Shell Reverse.png 10:16, September 5, 2020 (EDT)
