If the player drops a capsule, the player will have to wait to able to drop another capsule depending on both sides. For instance, if a player a capsule on to the ground and the Koopa Kid is not capped by by the capsule, the player attempted it early, a chance that the Koopa Kid will reach into the left side as the player can’t drop the same capsule for a second. If one of the Koopa Kids bypasses the trapping process, one of the Koopa Kids pushes the plunger to slightly open the barrier that protects the player. If the five Koopa Kids bypass the trapping process, the player loses as the fifth Koopa Kid burns the player. In Free Play, the player can decide know many Koopa Kids are going to appear in the minigame.
The player must drop capsule lids on all the Koopa Kids who have the same button inscribed upon their transport as the lid by pressing certain buttons as the Koopa Kids move on the conveyer belt. If a Koopa Kid makes it to the end of a conveyer belt without being trapped, they head into the room the player is in and drop one of the five plungers. If this occurs four more times, the barrier protecting the player rises entirely and they blow up, losing the minigame.
