An angry Floatsam.

Floatsam are annoying blue stingrays that inhabit the waters of Crocodile Isle.

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest Floatsam are one of the most common enemies in the game, encountered in almost all underwater levels. It is unknown if Floatsam are affiliated with the Kremling Krew or if they actually mean the kongs any harm, as the simply float threw the water lazily and make no real effort in attacking Diddy Kong or Dixie Kong (though if the kongs are in the path of a Floatsam it will continue to swim forward, making no effort to avoid contact). Floatsam can only be defeated with help from Enguarde the Swordfish.

Floatsam also appear in Donkey Kong Country 2's pseudo-sequel Donkey Kong Land 2, there is no difference between the Floatsam of Donkey Kong Land 2 and Donkey Kong Country 2.

What could possibly be Floatsam appear in Donkey Kong Land, here they fuse together to create Wild Sting, a giant stingray boss.
