Booster, also known as Booster the Seventh, lives in Booster Tower with his three Snifits. He is the seventh and current generation of Boosters (in fact, portraits of his elders are hanging in his tower). Although he has vast resources, all Booster wants to do is just have fun and spends all day playing with his Snifits and others he invites to his tower. However, Booster is quite mad; his idea of fun is playing with miniature trains, beetles, Bob-ombs, and Chain Chomps. Honestly, he's very much insane. As indicated by the outfits of his elders, the gift of madness probably runs in the family.

When Exor crashed into Bowser's Keep, Mario, Bowser and Princess Toadstool went flying in opposite directions. While Mario landed safely at his house, Toadstool, unfortunately, landed at Booster's Tower. Of course, Booster's reaction to this strange event was even stranger; Booster decided he must marry this woman who fell from the sky. Booster locked Toadstool on the balcony of his tower, waiting until the time was right to marry her, despite her constant cries of "MARIO, HELP ME!"

When Mario arrived at the tower, Booster thought he just wanted to have fun. Oblivious to who Mario was, Booster allowed Mario to ascend to the top of his tower. Eventually, Booster put two and two together and determined the mustachioed hero before him was none other than the "Mario" Toadstool had been screaming about. Booster attempted to eliminate Mario with some Bob-ombs, but Mario escaped the deadly blasts.

After playing a game of hide and seek with Mario (and recovering the Mario Doll), Booster flees the tower, taking Peach with him. Mario gives chase, but first has to battle Booster's clown minions, Grate Guy and Knife Guy. After dispatching the duo, Mario chases Booster up Booster Hill to Marrymore, the marriage resort where Booster plans to marry Toadstool. Mario crashes the wedding, saving Toadstool from a horrific fate.

In the end, Booster ends up helping Mario and his friends by eating a monstrous wedding cake that prevented the team from leaving the wedding chapel. The wedding cake was quite tasty and salvaged Booster's less than perfect wedding. After the Marrymore incident, Booster and his Snifits returned to Booster Tower to resume their games and fun.

As unlikely as this sounds, a second woman fell from the sky and landed at Booster's Tower. Valentina, who unsuccessfully attempted to take over Nimbus Land, landed at the tower with her bumbling assistant Dodo. Strangely, the two villains soon fell in love and eventually got married, with Dodo presiding over the wedding.

While Mario is in Marrymore, he actually may get a kiss from the bearded Booster, depending on how fast the plumber retrieves Peach's accessories. Of course, this happens if Mario takes a long time recovering the items. Other variations include Toadstool kissing Mario, Bowser kissing Mario, and Booster kissing Bowser.

Booster and his ancestors have a pink nose like Wario and Waluigi. It is worth noting that in Mario and the Incredible Rescue, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Yoshi go up Booster Pass looking for the red Mushroom and encounter Booster's look-alike, Wario, who they fight.

Personality

It should be noted that Booster is not a part of the Smithy Gang nor is he evil at heart. Booster is a bit crazy and relies on his Snifits to do all his work and explain things to him. The only time Booster wants to fight Mario is when his Snifits find him behind the curtains (when unsuccessfully hiding from them). Though even then Booster believes that it is the Mario Doll that he is fighting and not the real Mario.

It is assumed that Booster's crazy mentalities runs in his family. When the player look at the pictures of the seven generations of Booster's on the wall in the first room entering Booster's Tower, the player can notice that they all have crazy eyes and weird smiles, much like Booster the 7th.

Trivia

• Wario, Booster's look-alike, actually borrows an attack from him in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is one of Wario's standard punch attacks where he, like Booster, winds up and throws his fist far in front of him at a large size.
• Aside from Wario, The Shake King bears a resemblance to Booster as well.
