Alien is a species of green creatures appearing in the Mario Party series. An Alien was first seen in Mario Party 5, where they briefly appear in the minigame, ID UFO. Later, they appear in Mario Party 6, only appearing in the night of Castaway Bay where they appear near the location of Bowser and Donkey Kong. The species is seen in the Mario Party 7 board, Neon Heights. An Alien is always inside its spaceship or close to it. Its spaceship has star shaped windows. An Alien's spaceship makes a cameo appearance in Mario Party 8 in Bowser's Warped Orbit as the one who leads the player to the Lucky Space.
Squirps of Super Paper Mario and the Star Twirlers of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins are both similar to the Mario Party Alien.
