4koma Gag Battle is a series of Japanese comedy manga book anthologies, written and illustrated by various artists, and published by Kobunsha. Kobunsha has published various mangas for various different video games, under the series, Hinotama Game Comic Series, including various books based on Mario titles. The premise of the books is that they are composed of many short, brief stories told exclusively in the format of four panels, a format which is called Yonkoma in Japan. The first few pages of the books are full-color while the next pages are in gray scale. The series ran from 1995 to 2004.

Two different series of books exist with the same premise and similar titles, named 4koma Manga Kingdom (1991-2002) and Super Mario 4koma Manga Theater (1991-1997).
