RE:New Super Luigi U DLC Club Nintendo question.
Hi.
Club Nintendo said I needed to do the New Super Luigi U survey by August 1, 2013 if I am to get double the coins. However, did they mean 12:00 AM on August 1 or 11:59 PM on August 1? I'm downloading NSMBU so I can download NSLU afterwards, and its going to take about two hours to download, and its about 11:32 as I'm typing, so I need clarifications. (Hi my name is Agentdave7 I have never used the Talk page so hopefully I can help you. I copied your original comment so that you know what I'm answering.)
In the details it said: "August 1, 2013 11:59PM (EST)". Which means: anytime on August 1 until midnight (12:00AM, because then it`s Aug. 2). However, you also have to complete a registration survey before the deadline. The last question of the survey asks if you want to enter the sweepstakes to win the pin.
Hopefully that helps.

Letter images
You're uploading enter screencaps of YouTube videos. You should crop the images to show just the letters instead. Or maybe find some sprite-rips. Either way, the images as they are now are unacceptable.

Great Balls of Fire
Given that multiple sources call it "fire" and no sources seem to say they're just generic bouncy balls or anything, I think it's pretty safe to say that Iggy and Larry's SMW projectiles are fire. Their sprites clearly showing them tucking their heads into their shells before pulling the object out through the head-hole, indicating they're breathing it out. Of course, the technical reason was presumably to avoid all the troubles the changed tiling that giving those sprites a sufficiently-sized open mouth would require, but still, if they were just throwing balls, there'd be no reason to remove the head graphic. Short answer, it's a stylized fireball. As for the "star" in my edit summary, I was referring to how on the fireball's graphic is a white area that's shaped like a star. - They are a completely different coded object. Additionally, his fire was shorter, and most importantly, he only ever shot his straight forwards, and not down a rapidly-changing incline, so it could easily just be shown coming straight out of his mouth in a line. With Iggy and Larry, the incline's change mean's there's no way for them to shoot fire in one rigid direction with any effectiveness (note the fact that the rotateable background layer was already in use for the platforms, and as such couldn't be used for the boss or projectiles), necessitating them to send an object that could go down any incline without looking like it was trailing unrealistically, as not only would each angle of the platform need the same visual angle on the projectile, but keep the same hitbox throughout, necessitating a circular shape. Another fallacy with that comparison is that on the object used for Morton, Roy, and Ludwig, the head's graphic is actually firmly attached to the body, unlike Iggy and Larry; in fact, on the former three, the tiles don't even differentiate until halfway up their muzzles.
