Red Chomp

The Red Chomp is a very strong variety of Chomp (though weaker than regular Chomps). They can be found only in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Super Paper Mario and in Mario Party 7. In Mario Party 7, he gives the rider a lift and smacks the stars out of other players. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, they are immune to fire attacks. In Super Paper Mario, they appear in Chapter 8-4, hiding in the Basement.

Its attacks are so powerful, we could be in a world of hurt if we don't beat it fast! ...Which is why it's really, REALLY lame that its Defense is so high. Its HP is pretty low, though, so items and special moves might just work... Just look at that color! Think someone painted it after it fell asleep at a party?

Trivia

• In Super Paper Mario, Tippi mentions that it likes Pizza Sauce. This could be a joke on the fact that the Chain-Chomps appearance is like Pac-Man, who was based on a Pizza.
