Hello, may I ask what is the source of File:DKL3 Logo English NA.png?

Hello, I got it from an article from news site Nintenderos, though I can't remember which one exactly. I thought it was this one, but now that I check it again I'm noticing the picture is in a lower resolution. In any case, the black borders were off, so I cleaned them up and added shadows to match the box art scan from here. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 10:57, September 22, 2020 (EDT)
Thanks for your contribution. Just to let you know that fan edits are strongly discouraged here - we try and keep images as official as possible. If you still had the version without the shadow edit and borders intact, could you perhaps reupload that one? Thanks so much!

The image from Nintenderos has the shadows edited out from the official logo and the black borders come from poor transparency handling, that's why I "reverted" those changes to make it closer to the official one. That said, I understand if the less edits the better so I'll comply as soon as I'm able. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 17:26, September 22, 2020 (EDT)

Remake Images[edit]

I've noticed that you are removing the GBA images and replacing them with the other game's. A recent proposal passed concerning that kind if matter, so I think it would be better to either put the remade game's image alongside the base game's (the base game's are first in order of the images) or add them to the gallery. What do you think? Sprite of a Goomba from Super Mario Bros.DarkNightSprite of a Piranha Plant from Super Mario World 18:31, October 4, 2020 (EDT)

With how similar the games play and how little info the bonus level images convey, I think it'd be kinda redundant unless there's a way to toggle them. That said, I only replaced the GBA ones for the sake of consistency, not because I wanted to prioritize one over the other. I don't know much about any of these franchises to have an actual say on a "wiki-wide" proposal though. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 23:47, October 5, 2020 (EDT)

Moving files[edit]

No need to put a rename request on a file, you are able to do that yourself using the "move" tab on the top of the file page, unless you think it needs discussed first (in this case, it didn't). Just be sure to correct any links that lead to the original file name to the new one and mark the redirect for deletion when finished. :) Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 01:34, October 17, 2020 (EDT)

Thanks! I always assume renaming files is reserved for admins on wikis so I hadn't actually checked. --Gabo 2oo (talk) 14:05, October 17, 2020 (EDT)
