I make it here DK's Jungle Adventure and I start Peach's board. I miss the spaces here as I had problem at counting them... I didn't do too much because I start to do some levels in SMBX (for fun). If you're OK, we could start a mini-team for this... as for now, we can do MP8, MP9, MPDS and MPIT. I have to watch videos for other boards. If you have older games (for N64 and GCN), good, as you can make easily pages for them. If you have newer games... well, at least you can correct what's wrong! TSUNAMI No probs, and you're more lucky with broken things. Of the 5 DSs I have (Lite, DSi, DSi XL, 3DS and 3DS XL) only 2 of them works fine. Look... My Lite have the superior screen that goes red. Yes, you read right, RED like the background of this page, but it don't covers it completely. Still, it is annoying. Plus, the right on the D-Pad is kinda broken, as it works fine in games but you don't it is kinda flabby. The DSi works fine but I don't use it. The DSi XL works fine and I use it to play DS games due to larger screens. The 3DS XL's Circle Pad is broken when I move it up and down. It takes some time to return at normal position (according to the sensors). The 3DS is the most broken. It has the same problem of the 3DS XL (virus?) plus it is broken in the place where the superior screen is holded. Sometimes it was about to detache and some other times it falls on my head when I was playing (luckilly, it don't brokes). Also, I used to be an ambassador as I bought it when it exits, but I didn't connect it to Internet in time. This is what happens when you DON'T have free Internet. The Wii U works 100% fine, but I prefer play it on the TV not because the GamePad is more fastidious than a Wii Remote (not to hold, but the charge finish in a while) but because it is at lower quality. If the screen of the TV is 1080p, here is about 480p (some pixels are kinda blurry). And also, my Super Mario 64 DS don't save data of Stars after you save, so I had to buy another. YAY. But luckilly it is the only game broken on about 100. Because of these glitches, I have fear that my data of Pokémon Platinum deletes after I play with it 700-800 hours (I don't remember, I loved that game so much). And I don't want that this happens after I accidentally delete my MPDS file that had 99999 MPs. But I'm going to spam... anyway, there are no probs of how long you take. Just help me in this: try to count Peach's Birthday Cake's spaces and let me know the results. I count first 54 then 58. TSUNAMI Thanks very much! I wasn't around today. I want my vacation, so I went to Yoshi Island. Add them, but please put XX (X optional) for Princess board. The optional spaces are for spaces on Bowser's Cake. Tomorrow I think that I'll return to play MPDS for these things, as I'm the only to have this (luckilly I was able to pull of Piranha Plant, that was really hard, and Bowser was a breeze after a bit of practice). But I was thinking that the thing for the unnamed Mario game turns out to be announced (like Mario Maker), but sadly we don't know yet. Until then... I must remember myself to play MPDS, but I don't know what can I submit because I'm writing from my tablet, I finish my Internet fromthe computer until Monday. And home games are probabily better because the portables are less powerful. Still, I like IT due to the large amount of ideas, mainly Space Road. I like MP9 due to minigames (not boards, I hate them) and I will like MP10 even more with Bowser Party. Still, I think that these games won't make the Wii U good, because everyone sticks to XBOX and PSP... The best thing to do is starting working to another console and making it good. And forget the Wii U. This is what happens when you call microchips with Italian names... Anyway, now I am sticking to SMBX, I have lots of episodes and I am thinking about making mine. SMBX is Mario Maker 2.0? I hope that Nintendo remembers SMBX. One not smart move was deleting it (there are still links). But why I'm talking of this? (Sorry for writing here, this is why I prefer esiting from the computer: with the tablet you cann't scroll down easily. Feel free to move it down and to delete this) P.S. In Internet there are videos of SMW for NES and another console. They are unlicensed. Shoukd we add them to the wiki? TSUNAMI Of course... you know, if I remember correctly I get Platinum before NSMB. Maybe this could be why I played with it 800 hours... I have every Pokemon game after Platinum. I don't know why I should miss the new ones. Anyway, I think that I'm getting good with them, as in X I reached the Champion with Delphox Lv.99 (too bad that didn't level up in time :/) and some other strong Pokemons. As a result I play at X about 120 hours, where I have lots of Pokedollars, three Lv.100s (Delphox, Xerneas & Mewtwo) and a shiny Luvdisc. After chaugting one, I stop playing becuase I thing that I was done. I found a shiny Bronzor in Platinum, but I escape like an idiot... :( Anyway, congratulations for the win-doing-nothing! If I have time, I will try it... what was the difficulty? Easy? And just for let you know I did't play MPDS jet. It is because I like to play NSMB in multiplayer. I should play it soon becuase I am planning to get Super Princess Peach and/or Tomodachi Life. And I stick to a game until I finish it (in Dream Team it's like I've done a speedrun of 25 hours). Since I'm not planning to do anything today, maybe today I'll edit this wiki more. Oh, and if you read my talk page, I have still to do a table for Billy-Luigi: I should say to him that making a table from the tablet isn't that easy and that he should wait until the 21 of this month because my Internet for the PC should recharge that day. TSUNAMI The most unlucky thing that could happen in Pokémon games... :( Anyway, you cann't do nothing in Slow Glide because it's INSANELY difficult to take the 3DS stop. That is a very easy minigame, you can easily win versus Masters. But talking of Pokémons, I think that I'll go for Torchic. I like Fire much. I never get a Water for starter, while I always choosed Grass until Black 2, where I get tired of it. But in Platinum it's better to have Torterra at the last gym, that was one of the easier battles ever. Anyway, you cann't know which starter is more effective until you try it. I haven't played MPDS yet, but surely that MUST happen today. Well, I think... I downloaded Paint.NET for modifing gifs in SMBX (and yes, I have recharged Internet for my PC). But I'm not a good designer... :) And I just remember that I have Diamond, Green Leaf and Emereald too, but I don't play with them much. Since Diamond is the same as Platinum (no, it's worse) and the other two are very difficult, I don't clear the second gym in all of them. Only a thing - it s worth to register in the forum? Anyway... another reason why I like Fire starters is that I have less weakness! Fire have 2/3, while Water and Grass have 5/6. Do you like Poison Mushrooms? My favourite powerup is... uhm... I have still to decide one. Probabily the P-Wing. For returning to Mario Party, you are still right that the b 2oards need luck to win. Much luck, like in MP9. MPDS is much much much easier because there is a trick on how making your turns perfect. For first make sure you're the first to start. Do the first turn normally. From the second turn on, you can make your launch perfect! If you don't like the first try, simply pause and quit, then restart the loaded board and repeat the process until you can makimize the profit from this turn. Looks like Tsunami is going to edit from the PC forever... 4) Poison Mushrooms never helps you. In SMK, imagine you have one and you drop it. The others dodges it, while the 8th runs in it. It helps you in what? In lapping him twice? So they harm others. Im PMSS they are nearly useless as with a Infinijump you can easily defeat almost any enemy. And they harm enemies, NOT help you. They are the iconic power-down. 5) How did you make sites for you fanons??? 6) I am planning to go on the chatrooms... TSUNAMI 1 (again xD) I think that there is a switch from this... when you touch a Poison Mushroom, it shrinks and goes to 1. When you touch another, probabily the switch misunderstands you since it could be only a bit, so 10 (2 in binary) counts as 0. With 0 you return normal. 2) So it is a custom Fantendo? Cool. I'll think if signing up too and making those. At least I could start using Word... 3) I know, it's fastidious when a shop don't have the game you want :( Maybe today I would get Tomodachi Life. MAYBE. And those are my advice for your fanons (wow I'm an expert everyone asks at me >:D still remember that's my point of view, not yours) NSM3DW: Too many characters! I think that babies and different colors of Toad could be simple alternate ways to play the originals. Could you make that you can still unlock them but until you found a Capsule or something like that you cann't switch to alternate versions, and that you can do that only a time every X completions. And you forget Baby Yoshi stats. Worlds are OK, but Star and Crown could simply be Secret 9 and Secreet X. The story is OK, but I don't think that Rosalina is OK... look at [2] (the comic near the bottom). Bosses are OK, still there should be at least 1 new secret... Powerups are good, I like to put lots of them. Still you have to found a way to make all them effective. MKC looks really like Billy-Luigi's Mario Kart Retro Circuit. At least he adds nitro circuits. You HAVE to put something new in a game, even without preview images. For Baby Luigi's Mansion, I think that you should put something new: new controls (runs faster than luigi in LM2DM, stops slower or something like that), new unique phantoms... oh, and remember this: "Why, if it isn't my old pal Luigi! Or is it Baby Luigi? I can't tell the difference.". By King Boo. TSUNAMI Nuzlocke (and new section) Hi, do you have NSMB? I have made a Nuzlocke (or something like that) for it. I don't think it's though like in Pokémon... Break any of these rules to get a Game Over. 1-Ups The objective is making it to the 100%. This is NOT a speedrun, so take your time. Your secondary objective is obtaining less Coins you can to prevent have so much lifes. You cann't get 100 Coins in the same level. Instead, you can get 100 Coins in two levels. You cann't get 250 Coins in the same World. You are allowed to get a single 1-Up Mushroom in the whole game. Be careful, it's very precious. You cann't get any 1-Up by sliding. You cann't obtain 1-Ups by Mushroom Houses. You cann't obtain 1-Ups by Flagpole. Star Coins Since it is a 100% game, you must get them all. You HAVE to get all 3 Star Coins at first try. You can break this rule twice. You're not allowed to do this in castles though. You cann't return to a cleared World to get Star Coins. In World 2 and 5 you can return to unlock World 4 and 7, but you have to get the Star Coins of the Castles at first try, unless you break the rule. This also values for World 1 where you can get a Mini Mushroom. You can use Star Coins only to unlock alternate levels, NOT for Mushroom Houses. Miscellaneous You can get all power-ups you want. But you cann't get them from Mushroom Houses. It is allowed from Floating ? Blocks though. But it is NOT allowed to get the reward from Hammer Bros. in the World Map. You can only save twice in the whole game, after beating a castle. You cann't save after any other occasion. You aren't supposed to unlock all Wapr Cannons, but you cann't use them. Same applies to Warp Pipes. What do you think? I made it today and can be used in much other Mario games. I don't make it jet, I didn't try. Probabily today. TSUNAMI Thanks! The idea was from a YouTube Channel that makes a SM3DW Nuzlocke. The idea is good, so I decided to make mine. But I forgot that you cann't get any 1-Up by flagpole. I quit twice because of this. And I learned how to get less than 10 Coins in the first level. No, I'm not signing up... But a bit lot of suspence don't harm... and I have only ideas and nothing writed! Maybe I'll start when I have time, I'm addicted by Tomodachi Life. This is the 4th day I have it. I got 18 Miis (14 from scratch), 3 Lv.10, 4 Miis married and 2 other couples. No babies jet. I'm the happiest Mii, at Lv.16. And the only child. I think that if you are the only child (or adult) you cann't love and you live better. There was 2/3 fails, and you took a while to get things OK. Of course, there is Mario here. It is married with... my mum. Crazy. And was delused by my aunt! And is NOT friend of mine. Curious, huh? He was the 4th Mii. Anyway, I should do fanons when I have time. And expect some new characters, I'm thinking to make some. And if Mario Kart have character from other series how should it be called? Mario Kart & Co? Nintendo Kart? And for your custom poll, definitely the 4th option. Or maybe the 7th (custom), All of them. Today I would start the Nuzlocke... The rules can reassume in No 1-Ups and 100%. If have time, try it and let me know if I should change some rules! (Also, I'm planning on doing a harder version ^_^) Probabily I will change rules for SM3DL and SM3DW. And I think that you can nuzlocke even Mario Kart. Technically, you can nuzocke everything. But I am good only in some games, like, the 70%, in the other I suck. TSUNAMI Not only Nintendo. I was about to put even the Angry Birds. And I'm thinking it's a stupid idea. I still haven't made Luigi's Mii. I have made Wario and Waluigi but I didn't add them. And I received a Mii of Yoshi (that is not similar to Yoshi) with StreetPass, not added. I leveled up to 17, I don't know if the maximum is 20. I have read on GameFAQ that at Level 20 you can gift that Mii with any item in your inventory... I hope that it values with unobtained items, I want to have Headphones that are only avaible through StreetPass, that is not active because I already have 15 games registred. That limit is stupid. Anyway (one of my favourite words?), in which time zone are you? I was planning on chatting with you of these things we are talking here, and I don't think we are in the same zone, and I'm not able to convert time zones into mine. I live in UTC+1.00. For the "Good News" section, my mum gets to 6-Tower in NSMB. In the past she cann't beat 1-2, that I can do without collecting a single Coin. For the Nuzlocke I add this rule: you can return to World 1 to get Star Coins. I already write it. TSUNAMI And because of this I think it's stupid (but in Angry Birds Go actually they drive a kart without steering wheel. ???). I am UTC+1.00. According to a site there are 6 hours of difference. When I am writing this, I am woke from an hour, you are sleeping. YAY. Recently I have watched MK8 hacks. As of now, they are cool, there is a beta track (a crazy square) and due to hacking if you pass on an antigravity panel when you are alrady in antigravity and not-reverse (normally impossible) your wheels still remain sideways, and not turn off. Or maybe it is hacking it and the game works with a switch system. Oh, and obviously you cann't make an antigravity zone without antigravity so easily... but could be make? Oh well... I think we are reaching MK8 CTGP. Good. But not all people in the comment want this. Other news: possibily KTD DLCs announced in Japan, my mum having an hard time on 6-Tower 2, I have 3 couple married in TL with me wenting to Lv.18, downloading a NDS emulator to play hacks in it but I don't install it because my PC is slow, possibily regaining intrest to SMBX. Nintendo should improve a lolololot Mario Maker to make it better than SMBX in fact of level editor, otherwise I am done with SMBX and I'll don't buy MM. TSUNAMI Well, you know how are demos: limited. Probabily it will turn out to be like MVSDK level editors, that are OK but nothing special. And most people can already modify levels by hacking or by SMBX (just for let you know, I'm not an hacker, but I like hacking. I would hack a game right now if I would know how to do, I cann't even program a simple game with a game maker program :/), that, in my opinion, is the best way. As of now, watch at thos comparision of MM's demo and SMBX... Thing MM demo SMBX Lenght of level 1 setion that is quite short 21 possible sections and long like you want Graphics SMB and NSMBU SMB, SMB2, SMB3 and SMW, but one can make custom ones of every (readable) kind Elements Goombas, Koopas, Piranha Plants and powerups, some new. All from those 4 games, that can be slightly edited. Totems Possible Unpossible: if tried, they fall down making a single enemy that if stomped defeat all the enemies in the supposed tower. Similar to PMSS. Flying enemies Possible by attaching a wing Paragoombas and Paratroopas are found in various version, but not a Parapiranhaplant (but there is a SMW Flying Piranha Plant) You can see the difference: SMBX is much better, and is customizable. Other news: I haven't played again TL yet My mum clears 6-Tower 2 (finally) but now is stuck on 6-Castle (obviously) My folder occupies about 4 MB so I cann't copy it in a USB for security for install a DS emulator for playing MKZR I don't know if Dedede's Drum Dash Z have only 3 stages: if yes, I'm disappointed... Here's some of the thing he can do: Have lots of elements from SMB1-3 (SMBLL Poison Mushrooms included) and SMW, almost everything. You can make your own custom sprites to replace preinstalled ones for all the program, a whole episode or a single level (so they are limited). You can change small AI of the enemies and the misure of them. Like, make a Goomba that hurts you from top and a Buzzy Beetle that can be harmed by fire. Play with 5 characters that are customizable, even Link. However, their powerups AI are not customizable. Like, if you want to make a Cape Feathee, you can customize the whole sheet and the sprite, but their effect replace another powerup. So you can replace the Super Leaf with it, but you cann't make the pound effects. This also applies to objects, you cann't make Triangular Blocks easily. Taht's a thing that I dislike but you cann't have everything from life, right? Add your own music. I think that if you want to publish your episode you must slightly change the music. Because it's copyrighted. Make enemy spawners that spawn enemy after a while, set an invisible time limit for death, trigger events (thing that I don't know how to do), make autoscrolling (once again I dunno how to do) and more. Ride a whole new set of Yoshis, like Black and Ice. Make a your own intro and outro level that the CPUs play automatically when you start the program and select the episode to play or when you see the credits, rispectively. A brand-new battle stage where your task is kill the other human player four times to win. That is probabily my fav thing if I had another human to play with. Few weapons like a Bullet Bill shooter, Podoboo shoter and a grabbable (yes, you can grab this like in SMB2 and SMW) Piranha Plant pipe. As well as the Kuribo Shoe and the brand new Podoboo Shoe (walk over lava) and Lakitu Shoe (fly everywhere freely. Keep this safely). You also have a SMW-like No Yoshi warps. There is even a stopwatch. Another thing I like a lot. You can also make 21 level sections, and have lots of space for editing sections. Lots of space for World Map too. Even few things from Zelda and Metroid. (surely favourite) Think SM64 was forgotten? NO! You can make an adventure where the goal isn't complete levels but obtain Stars (customizable). With this there is even a counter of Stars you found over a door. You can get rid of World Map with this. Or you can make Stars as collectibles in a normal adventure to unlock something. If you're not good at making custom sprites, no probs: I found a pack online that have TONS of them and teach you how to make things like raising water/lava, floating blocks and the SMW Amazing Flying Koopa. Another great thing. BTW, there are a few things I dislike: You took long time if you ever want to make a new playable character sprite sheet. No Triangular Block! That's a shame, I was planning to do a Mario Kart-like episode that uses them for antigravity... :'( The Amazing Flying Koopa is stationary. No moving platform. With the hidden cheats present, you can easily complete an episode that was supposed to be challenging. But some of them are intresting. And the invicibily is useful for testing levels, and it's active by a checkmark only via Level Editor. No Starman! WHAT? Yes, no Starman. There is the SMW for it, but it is used as Star that don't end the level when obtained. At least it has some use. No silver P-Switch from SMW. No enemy totems (except Pokeys). If you try, they fold. Uncustomizable screen when you play. Or at least I dunno how. No infinite Bullet Bill spawner from borders. That could be intresting. But there are much bosses. Overally, it is great. You get why Nintendo lawyers asked the productors to delete it... and it was because they can make Mario Maker... well, I would be very angry. I love it since I downloaded it. I suggest you to do so as soon as possible. And I have the prevision that Mario Maker won't be a success because of this. You can modify the coding but you must know the language and have a license. But anyway, of all the ways to make cuwtom levels exist now and in the future, this is probabily the best. Oh, and if you don't like the graphics, simply make your own. They are mostly SMW styled.
