Welcome to Issue 146. I'd pull an "It's Gonna Be May" reference but we are already 18 days deep in the month, so I'll need to figure out some sort of catchphrase for June. Anyhow, we have another fine Issue here for you. The Awards Committee is currently hard at work so expect to see some updates next month, and be sure to check out Anniversary Announcements for all the latest updates on that. I would also like to announce that there will be no special issue this June. With Issue 150 looming ever closer, I've decided it will be best to leave the issue to focus on all things Awards. I am sorry to disappoint any of you if you had your hopes up high. There may be a themed issue later this year, but for now, that remains to be seen. I hope you enjoy this months edition of the 'Shroom If you excuse me I'll be listening to some old albums and crying over how time has passed too quickly.

Hi Everyone! Welcome to our sunny and slightly rainy May edition. I hope you all have had a great month. Please keep an eye out on Awards it'll be coming in hot and fast within the next couple of months. We have some awesome tournaments up so please go ahead and check it out in the Awards channel. The Awards Committee have been hard at work with getting prepared for this season so please look forward to that. Don't forget to vote in Superchao's Speed Mach Mayhem. Oh and please don't forget to celebrate being a Geek on May 25th just like Sweden. Or just celebrate being a Geek every single day just like I do. Anyways, readers, I hope you have a brighter and nicer June! Enjoy the Summer and hopefully some time off. See you all then! ~

1st Anton's Half-Baked Reviews Hypnotoad (talk) Anton's engaging writing style, research, quest for the food, and overall preparation results in yet another fantastic section.
2nd Mach Speed Mayhem Superchao (talk) Superchao's commitment to this section really shows. The complete write-ups that include obscure information, well-executed style, in-depth analysis, and continued presence within the Mario Board's community make this one of the 'Shroom's gems.
3rd Anniversary Announcements Lakituthequick (talk) Anniversary Announcements is well researched, visually appealing, and an easily accessible window into the activities of the Awards Committee. It is easy to tell the effort that Lakituthequick puts into this section.
