Rename to "Kool Kartoons"Edit
Yeah, so uh, we really change the name of this template. "KKKK" is way too similar to the abbreviation "KKK" of the Ku Klux Klan. I believe there are people who will look at this template and become upset, and I believe we should prevent that from happening at all costs. Because its the right thing to do. And also we are willing to change our templates to avoid using strings of text that have brought about meaningful harm, as we did with Template:Foreign names in this discussion. I know abbreviations are standard, but this is the kind of problem that's more important than standards.
With Template:Mario Kart Wii, Template:Mario Kart World, Template:Super Mario Strikers, and Template:Super Mario Sunshine it is established that the names for navbox templates do not always have to be abbreviations. (Admittedly, those are all named that way because of abbreviation conflicts, but still.) Therefore, I suggest that this template be renamed "Template:Kool Kartoons". - No, not really. I imagine that as a template we would prefer shorter names, but it does make sense to stay consistent so I am fine with "Template: King Koopa's Kool Kartoons" Salmancer (talk) 21:58, October 1, 2025 (EDT)

- I named the template "KKKK" because I couldn't think of a better way to name it. I thought about "King Koopa's KK" and "KK's Kool Kartoons" but I thought those sounded a bit clunky (and this has nothing to do with KK Slider), and I was against using the full name due to the length of it. And now that evie mentions it, I'm a bit worried. Not only for the people who were deeply affected, but this wiki too as it could be a high target for vandalism. I will change the name.
