I believe it is Meta Knight. Not Meta-Knight. At least it is Meta Knight on the Wikipedia.

You are right.Knife (talk)

Meta Knight is unlockable. The official site showed his special moves.

Eh? NSMBW Mario and Yoshi Jumping Artwork.pngXzelionETC

The article said he's unconfirmed. Well, I think that if his special moves are shown, he's pretty confirmed. TheGreatBlockyBoo 11:40, 1 September 2007 (EDT)

Huh? My Bloody Valentine

Does Meta Knight's Final Smash get an article?

Due to the fact that it is not officially named yet, no, it does not... yet. My Bloody Valentine
Really. -User:Dodoman
THAT one has a likely name. Super Sonic (possibly Super Sonic Transformation) will most likely be the articles name, which is why we made it. My Bloody Valentine Besides, Super Sonic is a form of Sonic, like Zero Suit Samus is a form of Samus.

Baseless Statement about Clones[edit]

In Meta Knight's entry, it states...:

Interestingly, despite being one of Kirby's species, Meta Knight's attacks, are not clones of Kirby's attacks, due to Meta Knights sword. This hinted a possible end to the clones from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

How does being from the same species make individuals most likely have the same attacks? I'm guessing the person who wrote this isn't familiar with the Kirby series, at all. Meta Knight has never performed maneuevers that Kirby knows, except for flight. Despite that, the way they perform flight is different (Kirby inflates himself, then flaps his arms, while MK uses his wings, which transformed from his cape). Although I personally don't want clones to return (except for Falco and Ganondorf. Hopefully, they'll be revamped), Kirby and MK being from the same species, but having different moves doesn't mean that clones won't return. I'll delete that statement. ElementGodX

The "no more clones" is nothing more but a wish, not even a rumor with a serious base. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 12:24, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
Cut me some slack, man. I've been told by many that they have a similar moveset, and I have never played any of the Kirby games with Meta Knight. My Bloody Valentine
Are MK and Kirby really of the same species anyway? --Trogga 23:45, 1 November 2007 (EDT)
Yeah. However, the confirmation of this was in a Japan-Only game (I forget which one). Read it up on Wikipedia. My Bloody Valentine
DP, I'll cut you some slack only when you actual do some research about the non-Mario characters, not rely on what people (who most likely know nothing about those characters, at all) said. That's not how it works. ElementGodX

Where did that qoute come from??? --HyperToad

That's his victory speech in the "Free-For-All" mode. I know because I play as him all the time. — Stooben Rooben 15:44, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

Born in Dream Land?[edit]

He was not born in Dream Land, but rather moved there after the Star Warriors defeated Nightmare. I know, not Mario-related information, but at least it shows that that information is false. ~DarkZero DarkZero Sig.gif 15:32, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

That's from the Kirby anime, right? Well, thats noncanon in the Kirbyverse. GreenKoopa - Comments or questions?

Well, we still don't know where Meta Knight was born, so the non-canonical info doesn't matter until we have a confirmation. ~DarkZero DarkZero Sig.gif 15:40, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

two things:1.In Kirby nightmare in dreamland When you beat him[meta knight] the final time hit him again and his mask comes of revealing he looks like Kirby but blue.2.Were does "He was originally going to be playable in Melee, but he was removed for unknown reasons"come from?user:tanokki [1]F ThatsMamaLum fb9046e.gif

Yes, that's an incorrect fact, he wasn't intended to be in Melee (although Dedede was I believe). Leirin 15

Chicken Run?[edit]

Um, I do NOT remember that, anyone have a source or screen shot or something for it? Leirin 15:32, 11 November 2008 (EST)

Other question: Is that even needed? Is Chicken Run related to the Mario series in any way? --Grandy02 15:42, 11 November 2008 (EST)

I know it's not a big deal, but it's worth mentioning that Meta knight is considered the best in the game. I know many people don't agree with tiers but it's still worth mentioning.

Opinions do not matter for mainspace articles. - GabuGabu.png Gabumon(talk) 22:01, 16 December 2009 (EST)

Actually, it's pretty much a fact that Meta Knight has a huge advantage over other characters in the competitive world. However, we are not a strategy wiki and the competitive world is not relevant to any articles on MarioWiki. Therefore, we will not mention this anywhere on the article.-Knife (talk) 23:46, 16 December 2009 (EST)
