Princess Peach[edit]

According to her profile page, Chisum voices Princess Peach in Mario Golf. However, the wiki currently lists Jen Taylor as being her voice, and I can't really find a reason why. One edit states that it was "Chisum's mistake", but I'd like a citation for that. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

It has to be a mistake on Chisum's part since it's widely known that Jen Taylor started her voice work as Peach for Nintendo ever since 1999 Mario Golf for the Nintendo 64 ; She is even listed in the credits right under Charles Martinet. And that's just 1 of the many reasons of why it's a clear mistake. --Swiftie Luma (talk) 16:38, 31 January 2016 (EST)
Can you explain how it's wildly known? The order in the credits isn't strong enough to say that Taylor voiced Peach. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
It is Widely known since Jen is recognized as the first long running Peach voice actress. Jen is in the credits , and even more she is right under Charles Martinet ; and if you go and compare Peach voice in Mario Golf to ANY performance as Peach provided by Jen then you would get the obvious answer. I would take time to explain even more , but it's so obvious and i don't have time to do so. Jen Taylor voiced Peach in both Mario Tennis and Mario Golf for the Nintendo 64 , as well as Mario Party 3 for the same console.--Swiftie Luma (talk) 17:44, 31 January 2016 (EST)
I have listened to clips from Mario Tennis 64 and Mario Golf 64, and the voices don't sound quite the same to me. Again, the order in the credits isn't sufficient enough to definitely say that Jen Taylor voices Peach, especially when Chisum's profile clearly states that she voiced Peach. Instead of saying that it's obvious, explain why. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
To you they aren't the same , only to you ; They are indeed the same as both Mario Tennis and Golf share voice clips, when Peach misses in both games she sighs and it's the same clip , as well as many others. I don't need to prove it , anyone with good ears can realise the obvious , But since this is just too funny here you go:

Mario Golf Peach

Mario Tennis Peach

Melee Peach

Mario Golf and Tennis are identical and some sounds are even reused between games and Melee Peach sounds identical to the other two , all Jen Taylor.

That's it.--Swiftie Luma (talk) 18:32, 31 January 2016 (EST)

Fair enough, but in the future, please try your best to carry a cordial conversation. It doesn't matter how obvious you think it is, saying that something's obvious repeatedly without explaining why is rude. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
And in the future , try to know the facts before creating discussion about something that couldn't be anymore obvious , because IT was since literally only you were involved in this , you were even corrected by another person saying it was a mistake , not just me. --Swiftie Luma (talk) 19:35, 31 January 2016 (EST)
Again, please try to remain civil. I made the original post because I looked into it and couldn't find conclusive evidence. I then made edits to Chisum and Taylor's articles at the suggestion of another user. I didn't have any conversations with the user I linked to, which is another reason I brought it up here. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Not too long ago Chisum made a new profile and she lists Princess Peach for Mario Golf. To me all the voices sound the same. I am surprised someone just doesn't ask her if she did Peach. There are such things as sound-alikes. People can imitate others. I can't tell the difference everyone who has played Peach since Taylor sounds the same.

The above conversation is rather hard to follow, is it saying that multiple actresses do her voice in the same game, due to clip reusal? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:42, 9 December 2017 (EST)
Jen Taylor is listed in our credits as playing Peach, whereas Jessica Chisum is credited as Plum. It's possible someone made a mistake listing it, but listening to both Golf and Tennis voices, it does appear to be Jen. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:57, 9 December 2017 (EST)
