Green spiked thing[edit]

Page 16 of Craig Wessel's Warioland 4 book, titled "The Golden Diva", mentions the green enemy at one point:

Next, the Diva dropped a green spiked thing. I jumped on top of it to knock it down, then I picked it up and waited until she was above me to let it fly into her stomach. I could tell I was hurting her because her faces became angrier.

This is written from Wario's point of view, but given the current name is conjecture based on generic terms, would this be better? LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:59, July 3, 2020 (EDT)

Interesting, but frankly I think it's still a generic description that's no more official or insightful than the Japanese description. I don't believe it would be worth moving the page. I feel the same way about Talk:Pin enemy.

I think Green spider is a more appropriate name than just green enemy. Sorbetti Sorbetti Sorbetti (talk) 16:17, September 28, 2025 (EDT)

It doesn't even look like a spider. It's a ball with a face and teeth. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:55, September 28, 2025 (EDT)
Looks more like a jellyfish to me. "Green enemy" is the only official name given out, therefore I think we should keep the title. Sprite of Lakitu from Super Mario Bros.RykituSprite of Lakitu from Super Mario Bros.
"the Wario Land 4 official Shogakukan Japanese game guide does not give this enemy a proper name, instead describing it on page 143 as 「緑色の敵」, "green enemy" So, green enemy it's not even a name. At least "Green spider" is used consistently, and even the name is underlined. Sorbetti Sorbetti Sorbetti (talk) 19:19, September 28, 2025 (EDT)
