We should change the title of the article to Donkey Kong Junior. That is the name of the Arcade version, and its original title. LinkTheLefty 15:47, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

- I think there's a rule on this wiki that states the most recent name used officially is the name for the article. Donkey Kong Jr. is the most recently used name, assuming that Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is the most recent time the name was used.

Split the Coleco Adam port[edit]

The home console ports of the original three Super Mario titles have been suggested to be split for a good bit. The Coleco Adam port features unique material, such as being one of four versions of the game to feature the full, untruncated ending theme, not to mention a rather large section on the game's List of Donkey Kong Jr. pre-release and unused content article discussing an entire unique level that was cut from the game. This level also is listed as being accessible in a "public prototype" of the game, and is accessible by a unique cheat code of sorts created by the developers. Factoring in any audiovisual differences as well, I feel that this game could reasonably fill out its own article. What would be included are any audiovisual differences, the cut level, the ending theme, and anything else that comes up about the game.

- Sargent DK (talk) I am not a fan of how many ports we treat as different games. A longer "Ports" section on the Donkey Kong Jr. article with subsections for each console it was released on will suffice. We could add sprites from the different ports to tables if Mario Wiki used sliders, but having them in Gallery:Donkey Kong Jr. (game) works too.
